Jeremy Donnelly practices in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation. He has represented individuals in state and federal courts accused of a wide variety of offenses, including, but not limited to: bank fraud, racketeering, homicide, conspiracy, DUI, narcotics and firearms offenses, computer crime, and assault. In the civil courts, his matters have included contract disputes, civil fraud, civil RICO defense, and unfair trade practices, among others. He also handles residential and commercial foreclosures, representing both borrowers and lenders.
He has argued several cases before the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts. His representative cases include: Anderson v. Town of Bloomfield, 203 Conn.App. 182 (2021); Tedesco v. Agolli, 182 Conn.App. 291 (2018), Geriatrics v. McGee, 332 Conn. 1 (2019); Wagner v. Our Lady of Mount Caritas, OSB, Inc., 157 Conn.App. 788 (2015); and Baker v. Comm’r of Corr., 91 Conn.App. 855 (2005).
Most disputes never see a courtroom. Attorney Donnelly represents individuals and businesses in arbitrations, mediations, and has helped student athletes navigate NCAA investigations.
Jeremy was an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut, School of Law from 2011 to 2016. He is an active member of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Mystery Writers of America, and the West Hartford American Legion: Hayes-Velhage Post 96.
