As part of this mission, CCDLA closely tracks proposed legislation and testifies before the state legislature in support of or in opposition to relevant bills. CCDLA’s efforts at the legislature have contributed to the passage of laws beneficial to the citizens of Connecticut and that foster constitutional protections. Through these efforts, we have also successfully blocked the passage of inequitable legislation that violates constitutional rights.
